The Crucifix Fish

The Crucifix Fish Testifies

Nature is the...
Art of God

This website is dedicated to the Crucifix Fish, a catfish that has no comeliness, one that is not sought after, and one that lives in murky waters.  He is unlike other fish of his kind, in that he feeds not only on the bottom, but at all levels of the water column.  The significance and beauty of this fish is not found while it is living, but after its death.  Within this fish you will see images made by God that bare unmistaken likenesses of detailed descriptions of this important event as described in the Holy Scriptures, the crucifixion.  This website will show you an in-depth look and analysis of this imagery which is contained within the skull bone of this amazing fish.   The crucifix fish will not lie to you, and neither will your eyes.  He cares not if you want to call yourself a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jew, atheist or any other name.  Nor does he care about church tradition or what men might think they “know” about the crucifixion, or how many movies have been made.  He will do what he was created to do, to testify to what would happen, and then did.  He will open your mind to the forgotten history, the real history, and not his-stories.  He will give vivid imagery, so much so, that we can know with confidence and reasonable accuracy the manner in which Yahshua, the messiah, gave his life.

Then God Said, “Let the waters Swarm with Fish And Other Life, Let The Skies Be Filled With Birds Of Every Kind.”  Genesis 1:20  New Living Translation

The Crucifix Fish,  what does it reveal about the crucifixion?

Yahweh (the name of God) gave us a special gift in the gafftopsail catfish.  The skull bones of these fish have been a testimony from the beginning of creation.  They have foretold of His eternal plan for the salvation of mankind and how it would happen.

In this presentation, different bone specimens have been collected and then photographed using macro-lens photography.  Each one varies in color, size, preservation, quality and detail.  But all of them give the same testimony.  None of them have been altered by me in anyway.  Take a close look at the details of this wonderful gift from Yahweh, the gafftopsail catfish bone, also referred to as the sailcat and crucifix fish.

“Yahweh, how countless are Your works! In wisdom You made them all—the earth is full of Your creatures. There is the sea, vast and wide, teeming with gliding things innumerable, living creatures, both small and large.”   Psalm 104:24-25

In wisdom this fish was made

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.  Jeremiah 33:3

Why do you suppose Yahweh would choose a fish to confirm to us the truths that He would later reveal to his prophets and apostles?

Passing along by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Simon’s brother Andrew casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.  And Yahshua said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”  Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. Mark 1:16-18

The most obvious resemblance that first comes to mind when looking at the sailcat is that of a person crucified on what appears to be a Roman cross-like structure.  But let’s look at the sailcat more closely and see what we can find there.  The salvation plan for mankind unfolded many centuries earlier.

We read in Genesis the story of Abraham, who was willing to be obedient at a tremendous cost and offer his only son Isaac on an alter, and just at the last moment when Abraham was about to slay his only son, suddenly an angel of Yahweh intervened.

But the angel of Yahweh called to him out of heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”  He said, “Do not reach out your hand toward the boy; do not do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”  Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that behind him was a ram, caught in the thicket by his horns. Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.   Gen 22:11-13

Just as the Ram was a substitute offering instead of Isaac, Yahshua was a substitute sin offering for all of mankind. The sailcat testifies of the ram's horns, ears, and head, profoundly and unmistakenly.

We can see evidence of the “thicket” that the ram was caught in, which is defined as a small group of trees.  This particular bone structure in the sailcat, pointed to with the red arrows, reminds us of this wooded area, and what was probably a small tree that entangled the ram for the sacrifice.  More importantly, this piece also represents the “stauros” or “cross” that Yahshua carried to the crucifixion sight and was nailed to.  What was this “stauros” that Yahshua carried?  Will the sailcat show us how Yahshua was crucified?  Was it on a Roman cross?  a vertical torture stake?  a tree?  This will be discussed in more detail later.

The Greek word stauros, translated as cross in English, is vastly misunderstood because its meaning has changed over time.

When they crucified Yahshua, they hung a sign above his head which was supposed to indicate what crime he had committed that would justify his death penalty.  The sailcat shows us this detail with a very thin flat bony structure below the Ram’s horns.  Because Yahshua wasn’t guilty of any crimes, Pilate inscribed words that were of a mockery nature towards those who compelled him to crucify a man whom he knew deep down was innocent.

Where they crucified him, and two others with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.  And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.  Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. John 19:18-22

After Yahshua was crucified, the soldiers around him decided that he didn’t have any need for his clothes anymore.  So they divided them amongst themselves and “cast lots” for his tunic.  The sailcat testifies to this important detail in a very unique way.

(click play and then pause, allow the video to load, and then click play again)

This took place right in front of Yahshua, while he hanged there naked.

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. Psalms 22:18

The top side of the sailcat bone has much to reveal about the crucifixion.  There are three details there for us to see.  When turned over and held upside down, it has the uncanny appearance of a slaughtered animal.  One that has been skinned and butchered.  Observe the bone when it is held in this position.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.  Isaiah 53:7

… Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!   John 1:29

Worthy is the lamb that was slain Rev 5:12

This is the reason the Father loves me: because I lay down my life in order that I can receive it again.  No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down on my own.  I have authority to lay it down and I have the authority to receive it again.  This commandment I received from my Father.   John 10:17-18

Yahshua willingly laid down his life for the sins of those who believe and trust in him.

A second detail that we can see reminds us of the Jerusalem temple, and the “Holy of Holies” area within it, where only the high priest could enter into once per year to make atonement for the sins of the Yudahite people.  There was a giant hanging veil that separated this Holy of Holies area from the rest of the temple grounds.  When Yahshua finally died, this massive veil was supernaturally torn from the top down.  The sailcat leaves no doubt to this occurrence with the bird-like symbol at the top (Yahweh) reaching down from heaven with power and tearing this veil in two.

But letting out a loud cry, Yahshua breathed His last.  Then the curtain of the temple was split in two, from top to bottom.      Mark 15:37-38

The sailcat shows further association to the temple veil by the number of segments that this area is divided into:  eleven.  The number 11 has significant meaning in the scriptures.  It is the number associated with Judgement.  In the wilderness journey out of Egypt, God had the Hebrew people construct a tabernacle which supported several coverings.  One of them was made from goats’ hair and was comprised of 11 separate sections all joined together to make one.  This is an important detail because in the scape goat offering, the high priest would symbolically place the sins of the Hebrew people on the scape goat and then release it into the wilderness carrying the sins of the Hebrew people far away.

“God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.” 2 Cor 5:21

Learn more on the wilderness tabernacle here

And thirdly we can see the symbol of the sun.  Sun light is frequently mentioned metaphorically in the holy scriptures.   “Sun of righteousness” is a divine title given to Yahshua.  Ultimately, eternal spiritual life is given to us through Yahweh’s son.

“Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us”  Luke 1:78

But to you that fear my name, shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.  Malachi 4:2

For Yahweh Elohiym is a sun and shield: Yahweh will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.   Psalms 84:11

Yahweh is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  Yahweh is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  Psalms 27:1

For with you is the fountain of lifeIn Your light we see light. Psalms 36:10

O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles.  Psalms 43:3

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.  James 1:17

After six days, Yahshua takes with Him Peter and Jacob and John his brother, and brings them up a high mountain by themselves. Now He was transfigured before them; His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.           Math 17:1-2

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear, let him hear.    Math 13:43

The Hebrew name Yahshua means Yah is salvation.

The true light, coming into the world, gives light to every man.  He was in the world, and the world was made through Him; but the world did not know Him.  He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him. But whoever did receive Him, those trusting in His name, to these He gave the right to become children of God.   John 1:9-12

That light was in Yahshua.

The sailcat shows us the sword that was thrust through Yahshua’s side after he was dead.  The handle that was held by the Roman can be seen at the far right.  You can also see the entrance wound, the impaled blade, and the tip of the sword pointing to the heart that it pierced.

The sailcat will further bear witness to puncture wounds on both sides of Yahshua’s body.

Now when they came to Yahshua and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.  But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.  John 19:33-34

There is something else very interesting about the handle of the sword.  One day while I was studying one of these sailcat bones, while holding it a piece of the sword handle came off.  Here are photographs of that piece and some thoughts on what this might represent.

Such fine detail on this small winged piece.  Perhaps this is to remind us of the stone tablets containing the 10 commandments that came down from heaven to Moses on Mount Sinai.  Also, that Yahshua fulfilled all of the law.

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.  Matthew 5:17

After Yahshua died, those who loved him wanted to bury him properly.  Joseph of Aramathea made arrangements to have Yahshua’s body wrapped in fine linen for burial.

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.     Mark 15:46

When Yahweh created the sailcat, he made this very thin bone structure.  It is smooth and semi translucent, just like fine linen hanging in the sun to dry.  The bone is so thin that it easily breaks.  It is rare to find a sailcat fish bone where this area is not broken.

Yahweh wants us to remember the fine linen, because those who have trusted in Yahshua, will be clothed in white linen at the marriage supper of the lamb.

“Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him, for the marriage of the lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.  And it is granted to her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the holy ones.”  Rev 19:7-8

Notice how thin and translucent

The gospel message, or the good news, wouldn’t be complete unless the entire story were told, which would include that of the resurrection.  Yahshua was buried and he was raised from the dead on the 3rd day after his crucifixion according to the scriptures.  The sailcat being the faithful witness that he is, tells us of the resurrection, just as the scriptures do.   Let’s listen to the testimony from three unique sailcats.  These three have additional testimony that most sailcats don’t have when found on the beach.  Observe these additional bones on these sailcats.  The one in the center is partially broken, but let’s take a look and see what these additional bones reveal to us.

Notice the wings of the upper bird. Tablet shapes like the ten commandments appear to be in them

These additional bones are showing us the Father raising His son from the dead.  The eagle and dove are symbolic of Yahweh in the scriptures.  Here we can see two bird-like figures.  The top one is like an eagle with its talons and wings carrying the lower one.

The apostle Paul makes this clear that the Father raised Yahshua from the dead:

“Paul an emisarry sent not from men or by man, but by Yahshua the Messiah and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead”    Galatians 1:1

“God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God…” Acts 10:40-41

For if you confess with your mouth that Yahshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom 10:9

Normally these bones detach from the fish early on as it decomposes. Could this be symbolic of the resurrection?

When Yahweh raised His son from the grave, Yahshua became a life giving spirit.

So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.”  The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.  1 Corinthians 15:45

Just as Yahshua was raised from the dead, so likewise is that same hope for people who have repented of their sins,  asked for forgiveness, and asked Yahshua–the life giving spirit–to come and indwell in their heart and mind.  We have his promise that he will do that, and save us from our sin.

Behold I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:20

We who believe and trust in Messiah have the same hope of life after death at the first resurrection of the dead.

“Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake—some to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting contempt.” Dan 12:2

And God raised the Lord, and will also raise us up through his power.  1 Cor 6:14

There is another aspect to the resurrection stated in the scriptures that the sailcat will confirm to us:  This was a rare find.  The resurrection bone is at the lower right, detached from the sailcat.   The long bone in the background is the dorsal fin bone.  Observe the  three ghost-like bones whose very unique appearances are best described by three important bible verses shown below.  I have only moved them slightly apart from one another for the photographs.  All of these bones are still attached by skin and strands of fibrous connective tissue, so they are in fact from the same sailcat.  When the fish is alive all of these bones fit together and make up the mechanics of the dorsal fin.  Also notice the opening in the dorsal fin bone.  Another bone fits on the opposite side near there that’s missing on this one, but will be shown on another dorsal bone shown below.

“For Christ also suffered for sins once, the Righteous One on behalf of unrighteous people, in order to bring us to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive by the spirit, in which state he also went and proclaimed his victory to the spirits in prison.”  1 Peter 3:18-19

“For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into Tartarus and consigned them to chains in gloomy darkness to be kept until the Judgment…”  2 Peter 2:4

And likewise, the angels who did not keep within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains in gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day.”   Jude 6

The spirits in prison are fallen angels

Here on this dorsal fin bone we see a small dove-shaped bone still attached near that opening as mentioned and shown in the above photographs.  This dorsal bone is also still attached to the resurrection bone, although this one is partially broken.  The natures of both the eagle and dove convey to us different aspects of Yahweh’s character.  With the eagle we see His strength, power, superiority and dominance symbolized, with the dove we see His gentleness, tenderness and love.  Here within the resurrection bones we see all of these aspects of the Father presented to us by both the eagle-like and dove-like birds fitted and working together.

The dorsal fin itself is like a sword to the fish.  The scriptures say the sword of the Spirit is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17)
From this view, the upper eagle-like bird that represents Yahweh is upside down and behind the dove, and the lower bird which represents Yahshua is missing and broken off which is the way it was found
and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” Luke 3:22

With shapes like tablets of the ten commandments in the wings of the upper bird, this is strong evidence that this top bird is symbolic of Yahweh.  This is the 2nd time the sailcat bone has depicted the 10 commandments.   In the scriptures the 10 commandments are listed twice.  Once in Exodus 20, and once in Deuteronomy 5.   It is also important to note that Yahweh gave the 10 commandments to Moses on two separate occasions.

Yahshua kept all of his Father’s commandments perfectly.

Those who have accepted Yahshua and repented from their sins will receive his spirit and it will indwell in them.  “But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel; After those days, says Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”  Jeremiah 31:33

* When the crucifix fish is held in an upright position to view the crucifixion scene, the orientation of the resurrection birds is towards heaven. * Also notice that the fine linen extends into the back of the bone and makes contact with the resurrection birds.

You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles wings, and brought you unto myself.  Exodus 19:4

But they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint  Isaiah 40:31

Protect me like the pupil of the eye. Hide me in the shadow of Your wings, Psalm 17:8

and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe.  These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 1:19-20

He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4

There are some important details about the lower bird that are worth pondering.  Notice how the wing is not attached to the body.  It appears that he can only fly because of the upper bird, which is clearly Yahweh.  And the body of the lower bird is unrecognizable.  It’s not really bird-like or man-like.  I believe that these are important distinctions to take note of and are explained by 1 John 3:2 “Loved ones, now we are God’s children; and it has not yet been revealed what we will be. But we do know that when it is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.”

Yahshua is now a life-giving spirit    (The wing tips and upper bird shape were broken off of this particular sailcat when I found it)  more photos here

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach you; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell you: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you: and the fish of the sea shall declare unto you.  Who doesn’t know that in all these the hand of Yahweh has done this?   Job 12:7-9

And now as mentioned at the beginning of this presentation, let us examine the question of the manner in which Yahshua was crucified.  At first glance of the sailcat, it would seem obvious that Yahshua was crucified on a Roman cross as is traditionally believed.  However there are two other views that I am aware of.  One is that he was crucified on one single vertical torture stake with his arms directly over his head and his hands nailed to the stake.  This view is held because of the following understanding of the original Greek word “stauros”, translated as “cross” into English:

“Originally Gk. staurós designated a pointed, vertical wooden stake firmly fixed in the ground. Such stakes were commonly used in two ways. They were positioned side by side in rows to form fencing or defensive palisades around settlements, or singly they were set up as instruments of torture on which serious offenders of law were publicly suspended to die (or, if already killed, to have their corpses thoroughly dishonored).”   The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, Vol. 1, p. 825

Notice from this explanation that a stauros appears to have been sharpened on both ends.  This is exactly what the sailcat is showing us.

Lastly, the view least considered but often read in the scriptures is that he was crucified on a tree.  Both “cross” and “tree” are read in the scriptures when referring to the crucifixion.  The word “tree” comes from the Greek word “xulon”, so a tree is not the same as a cross.  I believe that the sailcat is going to settle this controversy for us and show us unequivocally that Yahshua’s outstretched arms were nailed to one single stake, and then he was lifted up and hanged on a tree between two criminals just as the scriptures reveal in their totality.  Being crucified on a literal tree is not a new concept, but one that has been researched thoroughly and documented.  One such book is “The Rod of an Almond Tree in God’s Master Plan” by Peter A. Michas, Robert Vander Maten and Christie D. Michas.  In these next series of photographs, I am taking excerpts from the Michas’s and Maten’s book to add explanation to the crucifixion scene which is clearly testified to us by this one eloquent witness, a very special fish indeed, created by Yahweh to show us in detail, the crucifixion.

There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on each side and Yahshua in between. John 19:18

And when they came unto the place which is called The skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left.  Luke 23:33 American Standard Version

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree…    Acts 13:29

So many details contained within
the skull bone of this amazing fish

“The traditional crucifixion scene depicts three Roman crosses: Messiah in the middle and a criminal on either side.  However nowhere does Scripture state that there were three Roman crosses.  In fact, there is evidence to the contrary.  The reader’s response may be: What difference does it make?  The answer is that God’s design is supremely elegant down to the smallest prophetic detail, and for the most important reason—to point unequivocally to the only true Messiah.  As God designed prophetic pictures and patterns to reveal His Messiah, He also gave His Word for man to understand their meaning and spiritual significance.  Deep study of Scripture, with the Spirit of Truth to bring understanding, reveals God’s beautiful and precise plan.  Knowing who our Creator is and what our Savior has done for us is a solid foundation of truth, not blind faith.  Total trust in God comes from knowing who He is and what He has done for us.  The greater our understanding, the greater our trust will be and the closer our personal relationship with Him will be.  Therefore, as we strive to gain a deeper understanding of the prophetic fulfillment of the crucifixion, an accurate picture is essential.”      The Rod of an Almond Tree in God’s Master Plan pg 139-140

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written: “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”—  Galatians 3:13

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree…   1 Peter 2:24

“The Greek word xulon (or xulon) is translated “tree” in each of the above passages.  This Greek word refers to a living tree, not a Roman cross.  Even as Yeshua (Jesus) was going to His crucifixion, He made a direct reference to this act being carried out “when the tree is green” (Luke 23:31, NIV).  The descriptive Greek word means “full of sap”, such a tree is clearly living.”    The Rod of an Almond Tree in God’s Master Plan page 141

The large mid section of the sailcat resembles a human heart. Mankind comes out of the heart of God.

What is man, that you should magnify him? And that you should set your heart upon him? Job 7:17

In a little while, the world will no longer behold Me, but you will behold Me. Because I live, you also will live!  “In that day, you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me, and I am in you.  He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.” John 14:19-21

So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then the other who had been executed with Yahshua.  Now when they came to Yahshua and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.   John 19:32-33

These things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, “Not a bone of His shall be broken.”   John 19:36

He protects all his bones: not one of them is broken.    Psalms 34:20

It is to be eaten inside a single house.  You are not to carry the meat out of the house, nor are you to break any of its bones.   Exodus 12:46  (Instructions for the Passover meal, which pointed to Yahshua.  Yahshua fulfilled the purpose of the Passover meal as the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world.)

They shall leave none of it until morning nor break any of its bones; in accordance with all the statutes of the Passover they shall observe it.   Numbers 9:12

“One may ask: What about the “cross” that Simon had to carry for Yeshua to the crucifixion site?  In actuality, this beam was not a Roman cross but rather a crossbar that was nailed to the crucifixion tree.  It was to this plank of wood that Yeshua was nailed at the wrists.  (The traditional depiction, showing nails through the hands, is a physical impossibility because the weight of the body would cause the nails to tear through the hands.)  The crossbar was then nailed to the tree, and finally, nails were driven through the ankles into the the tree trunk.  Another Greek word, stauros, appears in certain passages, where it has been translated “cross.”  Its primary meaning is “upright pole” or “stake.”  However, it can also refer to a crossbar, the actual pole or tree, or the crossbar/tree as a composite unit:   As they led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene…and put the cross [crossbar] on him and made him carry it behind Jesus (Luke 23:26, NIV).”  The Rod of an Almond Tree in God’s Master Plan page 141

Notice the top of Yahshua's head appears to be wider, consistent with a crown of thorns. Also imagery of long hair on Yahshua from this top view
The sailcat is showing us 3 separate "stauros" or crossbars on one tree as well as both thieves on either side of Yahshua

It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.  Proverbs 25:2  New Living Translation

“There is a very interesting passage which leads to another aspect of the crucifixion:

The Jews therefore, because it was the day of preparation, so that the bodies should not remain on the cross [tree] on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away (John 19:31, NIV) (emphasis added).

Note that the word “bodies” is plural, whereas the word “cross” is singular.  Here, the word stauros is translated “cross” and refers to the tree with three attached crossbars.  Scripture indicates that the two criminals were crucified to Yeshua’s right and left (Luke 23:33).  However, nowhere does Scripture state that they were crucified on separate crosses.  Suddenly the picture becomes clear:  Yeshua and the two men were crucified on the same tree!  One man was crucified on His right side, and the other man was crucified on His left side….In such close proximity, it was possible for these men to speak to each other, in spite of their great agony.  Now we can clearly visualize how the soldiers broke the legs of the condemned men: first by going to one criminal, then to the other criminal, and lastly to Yeshua, as they walked around the tree!”   The Rod of an Almond Tree in God’s Master Plan page 142

And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree. Then Yahweh said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”  Jeremiah 1:11-12

But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, saying, “Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, And let’s cut him off from the land of the living, So that his name will no longer be remembered.”  Jeremiah 11:19

Now let’s take the testimony from a variety of Sailcats.  Some have spent a lot of time on the beach before finally being picked up.  Some are tattered and worn.  But now that we know what to look for,  most all of them give vivid testimony of two criminals that Yahshua shared the tree with.  Each sailcat seems to highlight different aspects of the crucifixion.  Some depictions are incredibly lifelike.   Included with these photographs are excerpts from the book Secrets of Golgotha The Forgotten History of Christ’s Crucifixion by Ernest L. Martin Ph.D.

Ancient Prayer

Dr. Martin has this to say about the word “stauros” translated as cross in most English Bibles.

“it had at least THREE different meanings in the New Testament alone. Note that the board plank which supported the arms of Christ (called the patibulum in Latin) was itself called a stauros (Luke 23:26). But it had a further meaning. The actual pole or the tree-trunk on which the patibulum was nailed was also called a stauros (John 19:19). And the whole complex together (both patibulum and the bough of the tree reckoned as a single executionary devise) was called a stauros (John 19:31). This means that the living tree on which Christ was crucified was known itself as a stauros”   Secrets of Golgotha page 173

“The early Christians who lived after the apostles were fully aware of this fact that the stauros on which Christ was crucified was actually a living tree. The author of Barnabas (who wrote in the late first or early second century) consistently called the stauros of Christ a tree….The descriptive context which he provides shows he meant a living tree….And there is even more evidence of this recognition in the early second century.  Ignatius also referred to the stauros as a tree, and so alive was it that it even bore fruit (Smyr. 1:2) and that it had branches (Trall. 11).  In the writings of Ignatius he said it was believed that the instrument of death on which Christ was crucified represented “the Tree of Life” which was mentioned in the Book of Revelation (Rev 2:7; 22:2, 14), and of course that Tree of Life was a living xylon (tree) just as the apostles Peter and Paul said Christ was crucified on a similar xylon (tree).”    Secrets of Golgotha page 174

This sailcat displays such incredible imagery.  You get a sense of the crown of thorns and how Yahshua’s arms must have felt like they were being pulled out of their joints.  The ram’s head merges with Yahshua’s because he was the ultimate substitution, a sign is affixed to the stauros.  Perfect fine linen.  Nail prints at the end of Yahshua’s arms. The criminal on the right, the profile of his face is seen.  They were in close proximity to each other so that they could converse.  Yahshua’s head appears to be tilted to his right, reminding us of the scripture:  “…I say unto you today, you will be with me in paradise.”     Luke 23:43       Cepher Translation

And they will say to him: ”What are these wounds that are in your hands?” And he shall say: ”These are the wounds with which I was wounded in the house of my friends”        Zechariah 13:6

"I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint." Psalms 22:14

“There is no doubt that Christians up to the middle of the second century knew Christ was crucified on a LITERAL tree. Melito of Sardis [died c. 180] consistently said the ‘cross’ of Christ was a tree. He said: ‘Just as from a tree came sin, so also from a TREE came salvation’ (New Fragment, III. 4). The patibulum of Christ was, without doubt, nailed to a LIVING TREE!”  Secrets of Golgotha page 175

… “What we need to recognize, however, is that the Tree of Life was reckoned by the early Jews to have been the almond tree.  And early Christians considered the tree on which Christ was crucified as being the Tree of Life.  Since Christ was crucified on a literal tree, could it have been an almond?

“Early Christian art indicates a close relationship between the tree of life and the cross.  The cross of Christ, the wood of suffering and death, is for Christians a tree of life.  In the tomb paintings of the 2nd century it is thus depicted for the first time as the symbol of victory over death.  It then recurs again and again.  The idea that the living trunk of the cross bears twigs and leaves is a common motif in Christian antiquity” (Kittel, Theological Dictionary, V, pp.49,41 italics mine).

If the Tree of Life motif is to be followed in detail, then the most logical tree would have been “the tree of the priesthood” – the almond.  There are presently a number of almond trees growing on the slopes of Olivet and it is feasible for three men to be impaled on the larger ones.”  Secrets of Golgotha page 257

*** Notice that the body of Yahshua is one with the tree.  He is like a tree of life to all of mankind as he is the mediator between God and man.  The symbology of human beings as trees is written throughout the scriptures.  This is an important truth that has been hidden by the lie of the Roman cross ***   More on trees here

The stauros is missing on this sailcat, but the tree is still there. The criminal on the left of Yahshua is incredibly lifelike. Refer to zoomed in photos below. Also observe the wounds from the nails at the ends of Yahshua's arms, as well as the wounds in his sides.
The appearance of mummified bodies

Look at the above bodies, the legs, the cracks below the knees.  You find these cracks exactly in this same spot, below the knee, on almost every sailcat you find, consistently.  These shapes look like men concealed in the bone.  What magnificent artistry!

Observe what appears to be the torso of a body including the head and profile of their face.  There’s enough bone structure there, and shaped in such a way, to also give you a sense of the  outstretched arms nailed to their own separate stauros.  This would be the criminal crucified on the left side of Yahshua, but on the same tree.

Looking up at the crucifixion scene

From this upward view of the tree, you can get a real sense of all three men crucified together, as well as the three planks of wood that they were nailed to.  You can imagine how they were lifted up onto the tree and secured to it for all to see.  How their bodies were contorted in such a way to cause slow suffocation.  Perhaps ropes were used to hoist them up.  Once in the desired position, the stauroses were secured in place.  The sailcat has some unique bone structure just below Yahshua’s stauros on two sides that might reveal how these “crosses” were secured to the tree.  Observe the shapes of these small bones from the photos below.

Notice the "U" shape
A "U" shaped bone on both sides of the stauros

What is Yahweh trying to show us with these U shaped bones?  Notice that they are located right below the stauros.  If crucifixion was a common form of capital punishment, then it would be of a practical matter to have a fixed anchoring point, attached to the tree, for the stauros to be placed into once the body was lifted up.  An explanation for the  purpose of the holes is that is where ropes were fed through for hoisting up the body once nailed to the stauros.  There are four more U shaped bones on the sailcat, or two more pair for a total of six. Is Yahweh repeating this U shape for emphasis?

To help us understand the U shaped bone structures we will start with this beautiful white sailcat that is well preserved, except for the fine linen.  (Notice that when the fine linen breaks away, it leaves the stauros showing that this area is thicker bone material and distinctly separate from the fine linen.  Also notice that when the fine linen is removed, the tree becomes more apparent.)  Notice that the two U shape bones on the right of Yahshua line up and so do the two on the left.  I believe that Yahweh is showing us exactly how those stauroses were secured to the tree.  Once hoisted up with ropes, they were set down inside the U shaped objects secured to the tree, or they could have even been thick branches of the tree that were U or V shaped, thick enough to hold the body weight of the person.  Also take notice that the stauros of Yahshua is pointing to the U shapes.

I have placed small sticks in the U shaped bone structures.  It is important at this point to understand that this is not the actual position of the stauroses of the two criminals crucified with Yahshua that are depicted in the sailcat.  This is only to instruct us on how the stauroses were secured to the tree.

(refer to the sailcat at the right)   From this viewpoint, you can see the area where the actual stauros would be when looking at the sailcat from the front (circled in red).  Also notice the small opening in the bone.  This allows light to come through to give the viewer the proper 3d perspective of a crucified person next to Yahshua.  This opening also helps delineate the presence of the stauros when viewing from the front.  The small stick only represents how the stauros was secured to the tree.

This sailcat is incredibly beautiful and almost flawless.  By now you should be able to see the two criminals on the sides of Yahshua.  Their heads and upper bodies angle in towards the tree.  Their private areas are respectfully covered and then the thighs reappear.  Their legs are bent at 90 degrees, with the lower legs broken below the knees.  Masterfully concealed but clearly visible once you know what to look for.  The stauros of Yahshua appears to be resting in the U shaped bone structures beneath it.  This stauros has such clarity and is even slightly bowed, which makes me wonder if they did that to them once they got them up on the tree, bow them to pull the arms backwards to put pressure on the shoulders.

Here are the details that the sailcat has been faithfully showing the world for all of these centuries, since the day that it was created, day five.  These are specific details which would later be written in the scriptures about the crucifixion.

The sailcats have not given any testimony to neither of these two accounts of the crucifixion:

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The sailcats leave no doubt that the crucifixion occurred.  But equally as important, they tell us how.  Yahweh knew there would be controversy, and it appears that He made a perpetual memorial at the very beginning.

Many people were •shocked [astonished; appalled] when they saw him. His appearance was so •damaged [disfigured; marred] he did not look like a man; his form •was so changed they could barely tell he was human. Isaiah 52:14 Expanded Bible
The top area above the ram's head has a similar appearance of an old rugged tree

The greatest masterpiece of the crucifixion, and given to man…made over and over again…delivered gratis onto the beaches around the world…hardly looked at…stepped on…ran over.

Gray line drawn around the body. Notice the puncture wounds in the sides of the thieves. This indicates that they were stabbed along with Yahshua.

There are three views to the crucifixion.  Only one of them is true.  The enemy has done a tremendous job of contaminating the scene of the crime.

Yahweh meant business when He tore the temple veil in two.  It’s time to remove the veil from histories’ lies.  It’s time to listen to the account of the crucifixion as inscribed by Yahweh, in His creation, confirmed by early church history, and take into account the totality of scripture.

Remember the former things of old: for I am El, and there is none else; I am Elohiym, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:       Isaiah 46:9-10

For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.          Romans 1:20 Amplified Bible

I saw one hanging on a tree,

In agony and blood.

He fixed His languid eyes on me,

As near the cross I stood.

O, can it be, upon a tree,

The Savior died for me?

My soul is thrilled,

my heart is filled,

To think He died for me!
